✨ My Whale Senses Are Tingling - Celebrating My 40th Week on Steemit!
Well, I'm definitely not a whale on Steemit, far from it, but those of you who have been following me for a while have heard me say many times before... Opportunities are all around us in the cryptospace, blockchain technology is in it's infancy and everyone here today has a chance to get in on the ground floor.
What would you do if you could have your own whale token? Imagine how many incredible projects we could fund if a group of whales worked together, imagine how many people we could reward for contributing time and skills towards community initiatives.
If you have been joining us for our Bitshares Hangout and EOSTalk Live events each week then you have been hearing many hints and behind-the-scenes secrets that will put you in a better position to prosper from all the new projects, platforms, and tools that are under development and coming your way over the next several months. Sometimes the juiciest tidbits, like Project Milkbox, MASDACs, and the new Whaleshares chain are dropped in the after parties.
There are so many new platforms in development that will be launching this year, and this gives us the opportunities to establish a decent sized stake in those platforms from the very beginning. It's an opportunity 90% of us missed out on with the launch of the STEEM chain and Steemit platform. Although they will be competing platforms, in many respects we have an opportunity to leverage the synergies between them to help large communities of people ~ while earning decent rewards for your efforts and involvement.
As I have been saying for a while now, 2018 will be a great year for all of us willing to keep our eyes and options open. Thank you to everyone who helped make it another great week, my 40th here on Steemit.

I am continuing to help coordinate the weekly art and community building challenges for @OfficialFuzzy. These challenges are a great way to bring people together and spread the work about important topics in a fun way that people will remember. From time to time I will participate just for fun to add my point-of-view to the mix, even though I cannot officially enter the contests myself since I help in the community judging process.
We recently wrapped up some multi-week challenges, our MASDACS beta testing bounty, and a community support contest for EOS.Cafe. Next week we will get new contests underway.
