It was another volatile week in the Crypto Token world.
But I believe the end of the tunnel is near. When the majority of people become negative, that is when things become positive. And the fundamentals has not changed at all.

1. Token listing

We had 2 token listings this week:

1. Product Development

Yesterday, our Co-founder and CTO @Mario Gomez Lozada, Chief Trading Officer Andre Pemmelaar and Global Head of Operations Seth Melamed were hosted on an exciting livestream by Ivan on Tech, a Youtube crypto influencer with >150k subscribers.

The livestream discussed the future of LIQUID, QASH, ongoing platform developments and how it will resolve liquidity issues in the new crypto economy.

Great job to our CxOs for the Ivan on Tech AMA!
It actually took many months in the making and it turned out to be a positive one with great questions.

QUOINE VP of Marketing Katherine Ng presented at Singapore Oxford Fintech Graduation Party 2018.
The event discussed trends of Fintech 2018, the relationship among Blockchain, Crypto and Regulations as well as an introduction to Oxford Projects.

For next week’s event, CFO of QUOINE Katsuya Konno will be speaking on the panel at Beyond Blocks Summit Tokyo 2018 on April 4th!

He will be joined by Loi Luu of Kyber Network and Fabio Canesin of NEX to discuss the topic of Decentralised Exchanges, and whether they will be able to tackle the issues faced by centralized exchanges — a hot topic in today’s technology landscape.

1. Operations / Customer Support

4.1. Operations:

Please note that fiat deposits and withdrawals on QUOINEX are temporarily being frozen during our transition to a new financial partner.
All fiat withdrawals on QUOINEX will need to wait until Monday April 2 to facilitate this transition.

QUOINE PTE customers are kindly requested to no longer deposit fiat to Shizuoka Bank. Any deposits that reach Shizuoka Bank after Friday March 30 will bounce and incur fees which will be borne by customers.

Also, QUOINEX will no longer support deposits in HKD.

4.2. KYC Automation:

On an exciting note, we are launching an automated KYC approval tool that will significantly decrease the waiting times for the vast majority of new customers.

From now on, in addition to submitting your government issued ID and proof of address, users (excluding Japanese residents) will need to upload a selfie (in bmp, jpg, png, pdf, tiff format).
This requirement will help us automate the KYC process by validating the identification document using your selfie image.

This is just one of many enhancements and improvements to our products you can expect to see this year as we get nearer to the launch of the LIQUID platform. (please note that this feature is not yet released)

4.3. Customer Support:

From March 23rd to 29th, we solved
Manila — 16682 tickets solved — @ 63 per person per day
Vietnam — 3092 tickets solved — @ 54 per person per day

We are getting better every day.
