The 'flagging' attack on myself and Steemit Talent Contest - Asking the community for your view please.
Steemit Talent Contest has just been attacked with flags saying my contest is not genuine because on this first semi-final post instead of keeping the SBD to myself I have decided to give it away along with all SBD gained from my comments (the voting system) to the winner!!!

With 12 semi-finalists the easiest way I could think to tally up the winner was to make 12 comments myself saying “i vote for Week … @…….to win and asking the voters to upvote the comment. The one with the most upvotes at the end of the 7 days wins! Simple.
And so I couldn't be accused of asking people to upvote my comments for my own gain I stated that I WILL BE GIVING ALL THE SBD gained from upvoting those comments and also from the post to the winner to add to the 20STEEM jackpot kindly sponsored by @luzcypher.
I am so confused. I asked for the upvotes on my comments to make it easy to tally the winner. Im giving away ALL of the SBD gained so how exactly am I worthy of a flag because “I'm looking after my own interests?” Huh??
If there is one thing I really cant stand in life its those people who always try to drag others down and look for reasons to be offended or try to destroy something good another is working hard to create. Ive worked very hard to build a nice community here on Steemit and I really don't see what is wrong with giving up my SBD on a post and the comments. Do you?? I'd love to hear your views below.

I totally agree with you man! Authors of posts should definitely be paid for their time, ideas and efforts. The initial issues here scream 'sore loser' to me?
The fundamental aspect of Steemit is yo create a reward pool for active participation in posts, contests or community initiatives. What an author decides to do or not to do with payouts is really none of our business, even if we enter into a contest, the rules and protocol are clearly stated for all to see. No one is forcing anyone here to do anything they don't want to do! We are the first people to use this revolutionary decentralised, Steemit social media platorm! So go and be social and create something amazing, design a contest, write some meaningful posts and music, share your art and intellect!

Anyhow, Im back to my normal chill self now. There will always be haters that try to take advantage of the decentralization of this platform. I rarely use Facebook aka Farcebook now because its full of trolls wanting to start petty arguements with compete strangers. I really dont get the motivation behind this kind of behavior and I know it sounds cliche but they really do need to GET A LIFE! Lol
So now that rubbish out of the way its time to launch week#13 this sunday. Looking forward to your entry! 😉

Wao this is incredible, I really do not see the bad in the publication, in the short time I have in steemic I have seen several contests in which the prize is raised in the publication and I think it is rather an act of sacrifice and nobility by part of who directs the contest, I'm really very surprised of this brand. Regarding your contest @donnaincancum I find it excellent is very serious and so far what I have seen is a good job and sacrifice on your part. What would be so wrong with you making some money on your contest @donnaincancun? To me a lot of these busy bodies are nothing but commie haters. This is supposed to be decentralized, a free for all. I'm a 47 year old stoner so what do I know?
Long story short is I support what and how you're doing things.
Agreed @lk666. It's not why I run the contest but yes now I think about it, it would be nice to make something from the contest. All I do is power-up anyhow. Im investing in Steemit because I believe in it and think it will be around for many years after Farcebook and Twitter are gone.

From my understanding, this is a mute point. could be wrong but let me explain my thinking.
My understanding of how the rewards from comments are gained is it comes out of the main post reward.
The total reward of a post is split with
Asking people to upvote a comment made by you is still coming from the total reward of the post to begin with. So I don't see how it adds to the total reward.
Again, I could be mistaken and if I am then I invite someone to correct me.
Fair point you could be right but how is that "poor conduct' on my part? Thats what I dont get when Im giving away my SBD. Not like I have to.
