My comment on: Turkey's accords & ties with Washington losing validity – Erdogan

The real question here is, why is Erogan making such statements? He must know that doing so, especially publicly, will have little affect on such cases and that Turkey hasn't exactly endeared itself to the West lately with its purchase of Russia's S-400 missile systems.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said the world may be “doomed” if the conviction of a Turkish banker by a US court is how the US understands justice, and warned that US-Turkish ties and accords are “losing validity.”
