My comment on: North Korea agrees to talks after U.S.-South Korea military drills are postponed
This is the most sensible thing I have heard all week. Anything which may lead to proper talks and dialogue can only be welcomed. There has never been any sign that military drills and sanctions in any way will discourage North Korea from developing its weapons. The leadership simply does not care enough about its people, and that is what the world should be worried about. The North Korea leadership already know the might of the US and that North Korea could easily be destroyed. All this new saber-rattling by the US is just an annoyance.
North Korea agreed on Friday to hold official talks with the South next week, the first in more than two years, hours after the United States and South Korea delayed a military exercise amid a standoff over the North’s nuclear and missile programs.
