I enjoy Mike Mignola's, "Hellboy.". It's got everything that makes Comics awesome: wonder, graphics, exuberant imagination, humour, and a world I love exploring. Plus it has nine of the things that make comics suck: missing or amorphous backgrounds, colloquial dialogue, feminist posturing, everyone dressing like 20 year old slobs..

Hellboy is also fun to draw, like Batman and Ben Grimm. Today I worked on transforming my copy of Hellboy into my VERSION of Hellboy. It's hard when Mignola's work is so strongly connected to the character.
