What If? Stories
What are your thoughts about, let's say, comic book characters and sort of a What If? situation.
I wouldn't exactly say What If?, just more of an alternate story line that I guess you could say is a What If?.
I have had so many different ideas, and have written some down but I have not fully fledged out the story behind them all. I have also worked on some guidelines for some characters with a friend of mine.
I am looking to fully expand onto these if there are people out there that are actually interested in reading these.
Well Marvel has already tackled this through their What If series. DC has Elseworlds which is sorta similar. But I’d love to see ideas of others so share away!
Haha yea. Just been some ideas that have been floating around. I shared one with a couple friends awhile back and turned out it was very close to Batmans A Death in the Family I think? And I never read that one at the time. Once I did, I was like oh wow. But yea, I'll sort them out and start sharing.

I think if you’re going to put a lot of time into it... make it your own characters so that you can truly own it vs a fan fiction you can’t do anything with. You could still follow in the mold of work like Astro City where characters are pretty clear homages to existing iconic archetypal characters.
