HF21 honey bee humor!🐝
Hey, Steemit! You know what sometimes sucks about being in my head? Sometimes I just can’t shake ideas. I mean, that’s probably good. I’m big on productivity, but sometimes dumb ideas get in the way of the things I “should” be doing. This is one of those instances. A couple days ago, I stopped to admire two honey bees on a sunflower outside of our local co-op. I was thinking about Steemit, as I often do, and the upcoming HF21. In that moment, I couldn’t help but to imagine their dialog with pollen, rather than STEEM rewards.
I have to say, I cracked myself up, audibly laughing out loud without anyone around […so you can imagine how that looked]. It reminded me of those brilliant Far Side comics by Gary Larson. Once I had this idea in my head, I had to draw it. It’s been eating me alive, and now that it’s done, I can move on to photo editing […which I should be doing]. This isn’t going to be part of a reoccurring series or anything. Just for fun. A little HF21 humor for the community. Thanks for following my blog!

HAHAHAHA! I completely own being a dork. This morning, @vermillionfox and I were behind a lame early 50's looking dad on a motorcycle. Not even a cool motorcycle. Like, the kind with the little boxes on the sides for his imitation Oakley sunglasses [...I also accused him of keeping issues of Popular Science magazine in there, and packing himself a lunch]. She said "...you're the biggest nerd in the world! How can you make fun on him?!". I just replied that I OWN being a dad and a nerd. HE was trying to convince everyone that he was cool.
I get ideas like this often. I'm going to try and do more of them, if not for any reason other than to staying prolific in comics and illustration. Thanks, @veryspider! Glad it got a laugh out of you :)
