Friday Sky Blue Color Challenge

There aren't many times I will admit to entering a dive bar, but luckily this one happens to be a play on words - the Dive Bar Restaurant in Jupiter, FL.

One thing I love about living in south Florida are the beautiful views that you get to see every day - you find them in the most unexpected spots!

This was a view that we saw when going out to eat in Jupiter, FL. From the road, you couldn't tell this was hiding behind the nice shops that lined the street.

Inside the restaurant, there were fish to see...

But I was apparently busy watching TV.

...and fish to eat.

Happy hour sushi and flatbread...yum!

But the best views were outside. The restaurant's entire back wall was open to this gorgeous seating area.

I'm sure this place is hopping at night, but coming here during the late afternoon suited us just fine!

There were many yachts lining the docks. They're like luxury RVs on water!

We couldn't resist peeking in a few windows!

If you ever get a chance to come to south Florida, I highly recommend visiting the Dive Bar Restaurant!

Thanks to @kalemandra for heading up the #colorchallenge

That first pic really is beautiful. It almost looks photoshopped.

As if I can photoshop anything.

You can MS Paint. Maybe.

Man, we need to go back there again. That place was actually pretty great. The TVs showing underwater sea videos was the best part though :)

It's weird, but part of what I like most about going to different restaurants and bars is to get the ambiance. If that's not there, it doesn't matter what's on tap or how good the food is. This place had it all!

Even a nasty place has ambience. Maybe not good ambience, but it counts. Ambience is important, or else you might as well be eating at home :)

Well, I don't want to feel like I have to take a shower after coming home from a restaurant.

Nice pictures

What camera did you use?

You love seafood too?

I used my Samsung Galaxy S6 active actually! They have a "pro" setting where I have no clue what each function does, but it tends to get some nice blues when I use it :)

And yes, I love seafood, especially sushi.

wow such superb picture this is all is beautful but like the most sushi and flatbread picture i like it soo much

Yes! We were there for happy hour, which had 1/2 price appetizers and beer/wine, but the sushi looked great. Definitely have to go back there sometime for regular sushi!

sure why not .

That's nice! Laughed out loud when I read the part about the fish, haha. So horrible when you start to think about it. Living fishes watches their friends being eaten.... 🙊

Anyway, if you are into traveling, self-development or blog feel free to check out my channel. Otherwise, take care and have a wonderful day! 😃

LOL! I hadn't thought of that! I don't think they were on the menu, at least. :)

Haha, well, maybe it's best not knowing xD

Is that a raw fish with green goo on top?

Haha, no, that's a chicken flatbread with salsa verde on it. So mexican food :)

Oh thank God! :P I'd eat that. Goo not so much :D

Great pictures that really show off the place. So beautifully blue and warm.

I'm curious, why is a dive bar when it isn't a play on words. On this side of the pond we might say a bar was a dive but we wouldn't call it a dive bar. Does it mean seedy?

Yes, over here "dive bar" means a bar that's disreputable ;) . Plus, the atmosphere is all about being underwater with fish tanks and videos of underwater life playing on the TVs, so it's quite literally a "dive" bar! :)

So pretty. Looks like pictures out of a travel resort magazine! Bet you can appreciate the views with fresh eyes after your Arctic trip to WI :)

Yes, I suppose that makes the trip to WI worth it...almost ;)

Amazing how blue all these photos turned out. And not just one photo either, but you told a story with them. Nice job!

Thanks, Matt! Glad you enjoyed it.
