Wednesday Yellow: Volcano Licancabur, Atacama desert, Chile
Wednesday, time for yellow!
The shot was taken in the Atacama desert in Chile at the Volcano Licancabur, where this strange yellow grass grows everywhere.

Hi! Atacama is one of my favorite places on earth! I think this grass only grows above an altitude of 400m. I think that’s what the guide said, anyways. Great pic!
yay thanks! I loved all the different structures and colors in Atacama - never thought a desert could be so diverse! And the altitude might be very well, it was already quite high up and breathing was tough! ;)
That's a striking image, I'm amazed much grows there. Isn't it one of the driest places on earth?
Yay thanks! In general I was stunned by how much life is there - even in the most salty corners you'll still have life, flamingos for example.
And yes, it's one of the driest places on earth - but I still found a salt lagoon to float in! ;)
Wow.. Amazing photography. i love it 😍😍😍
keep posting buddy :)
cheeeeeeers! ;)
