Colorchallenge: Green Snake in Bananas Thursday
This is a picture that I took on a river tour on the Sierpe in Costa Rica. Leptophis is a genus of colubrid snakes, commonly called a Parrot Snake. Generally found in trees in Central and South America, their diet consists largely of tree frogs and lizards.
Look at that cute face! ;) It was hanging out in a stalk of green bananas.
