i noticed you don't up vote your own post? easiest way to get some money next to it. Shoot i still dont understand how this works. All i know is i just collect it and send it to savings lol. Thats it thats all I know. I do know every upvote i give .01 shows up next to it. When i upvote my own post the same thing

Yea your voting power recharges over time and your likes use it up. https://steemworld.org/@joekyser there are many people who offer tools like this one to see your voting power, money coming in etc.
the upvote you give comes from the reward pool that is mined by the steem blockchain. you should be sending it to STEEM POWER not savings, so that your upvote power is worth more. and so that you actually recive more from the $1.00 or whatever your post made. you dont get the full amount that it says your post made. you get a percentage of that. the other percentage goes to THE PERSON WHO UPVOTED, thats right, you GET money by upvoting others. and the percentage of that u get, depends on your STEEM POWER.
oh ok good look on that. so when i get it then send it to steem power. can i take that out of the savings and do that? geez i dont know what i was thinking now that you explained it like that
ok i took your advice. it took a couple days to withdraw but then i was able to power up and then trade and powerup. much much better. now i get how that works. man thanks a million!

yeah take it out of savings . it will go to Steem then power that steem up
