Blue Friday Colour Challenge, handsome pied peacock

Came across this pretty pied peacock on Lokrum Island near Dubrovnik in Croatia. There was lots of them pottering about. Lokrum is where parts of Game of Thrones were filmed. Daenerys' walk up to the tower where her dragons were being held was filmed on this little island...we walked up the same stony path and it was punishing in the summer heat. It was unusually hot when we were there, even by local standards, we had a lot of dramatic thunderstorms on the last day after that it cooled down a bit. The dragon tower itself is located in the main part of Dubrovnik.

The inside city of Qarth was also filmed on Lokrum.

There were lots of peacocks and other birds on the island.
