In Which We Find Orange Orchids

Recently, I visited the famous Biltmore Estate, considered one of America's castles. It's in Asheville, North Carolina, and I technically went in order to see their Christmas decorations. But as part of my tour, I stopped by the conservatory, and they had a beautiful display of orchids.

Well, I never could resist orchids, so naturally I indulged.

I love the shapes, and the colors, as well as the speckled patterns that define the orchid.
