ColorChallenge Green Thursday. The color of life.

Hey there! It’s been a while since we’ve seen each other.

It’s Christmas time, YEII! Due to this fun fact I’m obviously on vacations which translates to “time to finally use steemit again” And you now what? I wanted to get back with a fresh start, new ideas, more motivation and a ton of posts.

So, to get this started, why not shed a little life to this? Allow me to present you one of my favorite places to spend a couple hours listening to good music.

This is the road that you have to take to go to another favorite place of mine, Bahia de Cata, Aragua, Venezuela. It’s a two hours long travel through the oldest National Park in Venezuela, the Henri Pittier National Park.

The truth is that this road it’s a beautiful mess and most definitely a terrifying one. It’s incredibly curvy and narrow; I often get the feeling that if two trucks from opposite sides of the road meet, you’d be stuck there forever. Seriously the road is so tricky even experienced drivers burn their breaks from all that slowing, stopping, accelerating, slowing, stopping, accelerating and so on and so ford...

The whole curvy thing has a simple explanation really, it’s due to the fact that the road goes up and down a bunch of mountains, so, yup, a lot of curves. Most people get dizzy, their stomach start turning, their ears start buzzing, and before you know, they’re throwing up on the side of the curve.

Green everywhere.
It's like an alien universe.

But you know what? For me it’s a totally different experience, when I’m on this road, I feel an immense amount of happiness.

And how not to be happy? When I’m in there I have so many reason to be glad. For example:

  • First of all (and probably the most important one) Because I’m getting closer to one of my favorite beaches in the country, the beautiful Bahia de Cata.

Paradise.

Heaven.

(struggling not to put 1k of these photos..)

  • Second. Because believe it or not, it’s super quiet. My family and I tend to go to the beach on the low season for traveling, there for, the road is generally clear, so you can hear the birds singing, the water flowing from small cascades in the distance, the trees dancing with the wind.

  • And third. Because the air is so fresh and pure! We always turn off the air conditioner and roll down the windows of the car to let the smell of nature impregnate everything. If you could bottle the scent of that place, the name of the perfume would have to be something like “life” or “peace”.

Oh! I almost forgot. If you ever go there then take you favorite playlists with you, it’s also the most perfect place to listen to some music, meditate and just chill

Hope you enjoyed the photos and the anecdotes. If you did tell me all about it in the comment section below(:
Have an excellent day.

Conozco Bahia de Cata y me encanto.. Me trajo tantos recuerdos este post. Chevere!

Saludos.
