RE: Color Challenge - Green Thursday - Ever Greens
howdy Oatmeal! words of wisdom my friend, The Fountain of Youth is indeed inside of us because of our spirits which never die, very well said and beautifully said! also that is such a great photo with what..one of your students? thanks -jonboy Texas gentleman redneck
This Vietnamese girl in this photo worked at my school in Saigon in June of 2013 back when I was working for schools. She was either an English teacher or probably an art teacher. This photo was taken in Dalat City, which is some miles north of Saigon. Dalat has strawberries, waterfalls, cooler air than Saigon being that it is in the highlands or closer to it. We were there on our week-long vacation as teachers but I think I had to pay meaning it was not a paid vacation.
I love the ideas behind the fountain of youth within us, the Garden of Eden, and even the lost city island of Atlantis. I saw a new Robin Hood film trailer this morning. Love stories. Love history too. Love things that inspire us.
The British were trying to take away American guns during 1776, but then we had that Revolutionary War, and teachers generally fail to mention the gun grab attempts found repeated in history too many times in too many countries for too many years which resulted in too many deaths and problems by the British and by others.
Gun Grab Attempts
1770s - Great Britain
1930s - Germany
1950s - USSR (not Russia)
2000s - NWO/NAU (not USA)
Etc...
