Venezuelan Araguato

This photo was taken one afternoon, I received the visit of a herd of Araguatos, they were approximately 15, of all sizes and sexes, they were eating green fruits and curious what I did there .
They are animals of about 450 to 650 mm in height, in addition to having a large tail greater than their height.
They say in the town of San Sebastian that these monkeys hang people from the trees with their tails. I really believe that it is an urban legend, although they have a very serious and aggressive face, they are fast moving animals among the trees, so I think they do not really need to hang a human, feeling threatened, they are fast and vegetarians
In a next post, I will write a little more about them and post more pictures of these extraordinary animals.

(Esta foto fue tomada una la tarde, recibí la visita de una manada de Araguatos, eran aproximadamente 15, de todos los tamaños y sexos, estaban comiendo frutos verdes y curiociando lo que yo hacia allí.
Son animales de unos 450 a 650 mm de altura, además de poseer una gran cola mayor a su altura.
Dicen en el pueblo de San Sebastián que estos monos ahorcan a la gente desde los arboles con su cola. Realmente creo que es una leyenda urbana, pese a que tienen un rostro muy serio y agresivo, son animales de rápida movilidad entre los arboles, por eso creo que no tienen realmente la necesidad de ahorcar a un humano, al sentirse amenazados, son rápidos y vegetarianos.
En un proximo post, les escribire un poco mas de ellos y colocare mas fotos de estos extraordinarios animales)
