My Neighbor’s Laundry Bangkok Thailand colorchallenge thursdaygreen
My next door neighbor in Bangkok Thailand used to be a young lady that was always nicely put together and very stylish. She hung laundry out to dry frequently and used this green carousel for various items. The shower caps amazed me since I never use them and would never think to dry them for reuse. If I did ever use one, I think it would be going in the trash after that.
I read a post on one of the groups I am in for Thailand speaking about the many showers Thai people take throughout each day. The original poster was a man who had just moved in with his Thai girlfriend to find she took four or more showers each day. These were in the morning, at lunchtime, upon arrival home from anywhere, and before bed. If they had sex, she insisted on showers for both of them before and after.
The post got busy with many other people chiming in to say this was not unusual and mentioned shower

I am a shower twice a day kinda gal... anything less and I would CRINGE - which has not been easy here in Cape Town SA, with the drought and all the water restrictions... haha - thankfully we have had some decent Winter rains so far!
I agree - it does look like underwear! It's so interesting how people have different habits.
I have heard about your drought. I lived through water restrictions in California, but here in SE Asia we have more than enough water. When I was in Cambodia, I watched people take soap out into the downpours and shower there. This was right on the street where I was driving by!

It was! I was so shocked. But now I think it is a good idea and I will try it if I ever get a chance. Maybe not by the main road though :)
