Genus Anemone (includes more than 150 species) are everlasting which have radical leaves with long leaf-stems. These flowers also known as "wind flowers." This genus mostly includes herbs which has long been used in medicines. These flowers best grow in a loamy soil. These flourish in partial shade, or in full sun.
Depending on the culture and context, wind flowers has diverse meanings. The Egyptian and Chinese cultures considered these flowers a sign of illness owing to its coloring, also in many Eastern cultures it is a sign of bad luck.
