Hello fellow steemians, this is my entry for today's colorchallenge TUESDAYORANGE hosted by @kalemandra.

💮 ORANGE DAYLILY 💮

The daylily is often called "the perfect perennial", due to its brilliant colors, ability to tolerate drought and frost and to thrive in many different climate zones, and generally low maintenance.

Daylilies are perennial plants, whose name alludes to the flowers which typically last no more than 24 hours (about a day or so). The flowers of most species open in early morning and wither during the following night.

Daylilies may be the most carefree of all flowering perennials. The plants grow quickly and are long lived. They thrive in almost any type of soil, will grow in sun or shade. Daylilies are known for their toughness, but they also dazzle with their big, colorful flowers
