More parking lot shots all misty covered in snow. Last week. Boulder, Colorado

This week I was a little bit off. The three photos refuse to align perfectly, so just as well you can only see them in scroll form. Last weekend was a beautiful warm for winter Saturday, but then it snowed overnight. Hardly anyone was out so with the snow covering everything it was very quiet.

Do you see that well positioned bench in the first photo. It would have been lovely to sit there for the view, but less so for one's bum. And I was getting kind of chilly.

In this one you can see how Viele Lake is partially frozen over. I wonder if it will ever get cold enough for a complete freeze this winter. So far, winter has only come in short visits. I've only worn my heavy coat a handful of times. Feels wrong.

There are a couple of schools and a recreation center that get to call this lovely area their neighborhood. But they've gotten so spoiled by all this beauty around them, they barely notice it. Someday they'll look back and feel thankful.
