GEMS Episode 003 | The Flatirons
In episode 003, I had a wonderful opportunity to visit Boulder, Colorado. A truly wonderful place. It's often described as a bubble of paradise that's wedged between the real world of Denver and the Rockies. I explored The Flatirons, which is less than 10 minutes away from the city center in Boulder. I could have walked there if I wanted to (I didn't. It was FREEZING).
GEMS is an outdoor adventure webseries by FriendFilms that cinematically explores outdoor spaces and interesting parts of the world. The goal is to that the park next door is just as beautiful as anything that you haven't yet seen.

Nope, no stabilizer. Totally handheld. Just used the overcranked slow motion to sell a steadier image. Worked well!

Lovely imagery. What lenses did you use? The purple flaring reminds me of old Leica lenses.
I actually used Canon L series glass at f4. I only had a day to shoot it so I needed a good zoom range. went with a 24-70 and a 70-200.
