Coffee, Music and Paragliding are the biggest icons of one of the most beautiful pueblos, or small towns - of the Coffee Axis of Colombia.

This is the kind of place that sucks you back in time to an indefinite decade where Jeep Willys rule the roads and their passing is greeted with neighborly whistles of enthusiasm.

Afternoons are spent socializing over a cup of locally grown coffee. This pueblo boasts five specialty coffee shops serving locally grown gourmet coffee with great preparation techniques. Take your pick!

It's difficult to get everything done in one day - but the ideal itinerary is paragliding in the morning and a garden-walking trail-reserve in the afternoon. Bring a light jacket and the fortitude not to be blown away by the afternoon breezes which are a characteristic of Apia, Colombia.

During weekends and special holidays one of the many local bands can be seen or heard playing in the streets or hosting a concert for locals and visitors. This pueblo has a strange tendency to create excellent musicians. They even have had their own local composers who wrote and published music which is still sung and played today.
