Very informative interview. I had never heard of this guest before, but found him to be very articulate and wise.

His take on how it is "one big control structure" is spot on, and love his general advice on how to not be in it as much as possible.

As you both mentioned, it is impossible to completely be out of it, but there are things people can do including being nimble as he put it (meaning being financially independent, mobile, etc.). It would be great to have a whole episode on how to escape from most of these control systems. For example, I will home-school my child. And many years ago I became a non-resident of Canada, and thus [legally] needn't ever pay any income tax for as long as I live. People need to get better informed.

The "IMF Tax ID" for every citizen of the world is one scary thing; any tangible sources on this?
