Cold water soluble modified starch for Pearl Coating Paper Formulations
Pearl Coating Paper Application is an application of coating paper which has been coated by a mixing formulation to impart certain qualities to the paper, including weight and surface gloss, smoothness or ink absorbency.
Clay and calcium carbonate are most often used for coating papers used in commercial printing. Other process can be poly olefin extrusion coating or silicone coating to make release liner. Coating formulations can also contain synthetic or natural organic binder and viscofiers and other additives, such as styrene-butadiene latexes, starches, dispersants, resins, PVC. Coatings may also protect against ultraviolet radiation, or give water resistance and wet strength.
A Cold water soluble modified starch has been introduced by . Starch Solution Internasional, this products can mixed in formulation as co binder and also as BIOLATEX. The brand name of this product is SOLSACOAT CW 8K.
This product has higher viscosity but but better surface formed in coating pearl.
