Colada Boyz: Sanguich De Miami

If you’re from South Florida, you’re no stranger to food trucks 🚛; but have you ever ate from a shipping container? If you’re trying to check that off your bucket list, or you’re looking for a colada at a place with a slamming pan con bistec, then Sanguich De Miami (on 8th Street, near 16th Ave) is where you should go. On his recommendation, we met up @querikoconkiko to chop it up and share a colada. After chatting with the hospitable owner for a bit, we were served a colada with a beautiful looking, dark brown, layer of espuma. If you’re selling café on Calle Ocho, then your espumita better be this quality! Hats off! 🎩 As far as taste, it had both sweet and bitter aspects, with bitter being the overarching flavor. The consistency was very slightly watery but it never affected the coffee’s potency or taste. All in all, the best colada from a shipping container we’ve ever had.
