How I exchange steem for other cryptocurrency unorthodox

I'm sure there are much easier ways but this way has been the fastest and also my first way before I even knew much about crypto and how to buy and storing wallets So I have been powering down a lil latley so what I do is I take my Steem exchange it on blocktrades for dogecoin.transfer my dogecoin to my wallet via coinomi. Then I shape-shift my Dogecoin for digibyte on coinomi. After I receive my digibyte I then send it to my official digibyte wallet. There are other cryptocurrencies that you can exchange on coinomi right now though I prefer stacking up my digibyte for 2018.
If anyone has ever done this please leave comments below if not give it a try and see how it works for you I believe the fees were really low to doing it this way the only thing I suggest you do is take a look at the cryptocurrency that you are exchanging on coinomi and make sure it is up to current price because I've seen cryptos on coinomi that say they are $0.01 USD but in all reality are much less so please do your DD before transfers if you do try this way please leave a comment and let me know how much it cost you to try it this way thank you have fun
