Coffee Tips: Weigh your coffee
Hey guys,
Today I'd like to share a coffee tip I use when brewing coffee at home.
The tip is WEIGH YOUR COFFEE
I'm sure you might have a coffee spoon lying around in your house. They could have a line or something to let you know the portion per cup.
Now let me tell you something a little shocking.
Those coffee spoons are not really accurate.
Why?
They measure volume, and the last thing you want to measure volume on is coffee.
Coffee has many varieties, from super long and narrow to short and round. Then there's also light to dark roast which differs in density.
All of this varying features of coffee can change the taste and you won't get a consistent cup each time if you use the same spoon for different coffee.
To solve this problem, use a scale and always get the same grams/Oz of coffee you want. You'll be surprised with the varying amounts of coffee beans you need to get that same weight.
This rule is golden and I hope it makes your coffee life significantly better!!
Cheers.
Logical!
