The Han Cheng Lake in Xi'an
Yesterday belonged to 'the white dew' of the twenty-four solar terms in China. The white dew term means weather is getting colder and many dewdrops appear on the ground and the leaves from this day.
The weather was very nice yesterday. The white clouds floated under the blue sky. So it’s a good time for outdoor activities. And I had a friend with the same idea beside the weather.
It's really a surprise that there was a so big lake near our company. The Hang Cheng Lake locals in the south of the ancient site of Chang'an City of Han dynasty. That is why its name means a lake of Han city.
We always doubted it's as boring as some other natural attractions in the city of Xi'an, until we arrived at the lake.In fact, the Han Cheng Lake was a artificial reservoir and more like a river than a lake. Because there was no such wide river in urban areas of Xi'an in my memory , I felt like I was not in Xi'an while we walked around the lake.
Where has water, where gives a sense of spirituality, the Chinese saying goes. That's a wonderful afternoon. We obtained a beautiful scenery and a relaxed mood.
