TGI Fridays is a popular American restaurant chain for an enjoyable casual dining experience. It offers exceptional variety from classic Handcrafted burgers, Jack Daniel’s Ribs and to-share platters as well as a wide range of innovative cocktails to choose from.

The restaurant name acronym actually stands for “Thank God It’s Friday”. Apart from the great food and creative drinks on offer, it is also a fun place to be, turning any day into a fabulous fun FRIDAY! What a great concept! It has soon become one of my favourite places to hang out with friends.

Yesterday I met up with a friend at TGI Fridays in Wembley. The restaurant is located within the recently developed London Designer Outlet right opposite the famous Wembley Stadium.

Walking through the London Designer Outlet, it was very busy and brimming with loads of shoppers. The whole venue was decorated with awesome Christmas lighting which was very beautiful indeed!

Arriving at TGI Fridays, the restaurant was massive with ample seating. The environment was very modern with bold, overstated ceiling lights and red chesterfield leather seats, thus creating a very warm and inviting atmosphere.

The bar area was super cool too with a real friendly bar man. They are always mixing it up at the bar, creating exciting new cocktails from frothy and fruity smoothies to a world-class assortment of beers and wines.

My favourite drink being the "Strawberry Shortcake" which is simply out-of-this-world delicious! It is a frozen blend of fresh strawberries, old rum, fruit liqueur and vanilla ice cream. Yummy!

The menu is quite big, bringing with it world famous signature dishes like Potato Skins, Buffalo Wings, Ultimate Grills and Sizzling Fajitas!

Our starter was a side of Jack Daniel Wings. They were cooked to perfection and coated in a flavour-packed trademark Jack Daniels sauce. I cannot describe how amazingly crispy these baked chicken wings are. The perfect appetiser to a great evening out!

For the mains, I ordered the Ultimate Jack Daniel’s Double Glazed Ribs. Yes, that Jack Daniel's sauce yet again! There is something about this sauce that I just don’t seem to get enough of, lol. The Jack Daniel’s grill glaze is one of the most delicious sauces you will ever taste on just about any meat you can think of. It was introduced back in 1997 and fast become one of TGI Friday's best-selling items since. Being sweet in flavour with a hint of added spice, it can be ordered on an assortment of different meat choices. For example, salmon, steak, chicken and pork chops.

The portion of the food are always very generous. The ribs came with apple slaw, char-grilled corn on the cob and crispy fries. You might be mistaken for thinking it was food served for two people!

The ribs are slow-cooked in the oven and browned over on the grill. The meat was so tender, literally falling off the bone, in the sweet and spicy Jack Daniel’s sauce. Absolutely finger licking good!

My friend opted for the classic burger. And again, with the amazing Jack Daniel’s sauce, lol. It was also of a very high standard too.

Throughout our meal, our waitress was attentive without being intrusive. She refilled my friend’s coke glass without being asked with a smile and a little cheerful banter thrown in or good measure. What great customer service! Another unique selling point of this establishment are the celebrations they include if you pre-organise it. At regular intervals, you will hear staff gathering whilst cheering on to celebrate a customer’s birthday at another table. A slight distraction during a meal for some but I thought it was a great "feel-good" gesture on their part.

By the time we finished those starters and main course, we had absolutely no more room for any dessert whatsoever. Although we would have loved to, lol. Though there is always next time as I am pretty sure we will be returning here again real soon.

T.G.I. Fridays offers a unique atmospehere in regards to an "All American-style" dining experience, delivering what is promised in it's slogan as "Always being as good as that Friday feeling at TGI Friday's"!

昨天我约了朋友在Wembley区的星期五美式餐厅见面。餐厅坐落在伦敦折扣商场内（London Designer Outlet），斜对面就是著名的Wembley体育场。从车站出来，穿过淋漓满目的折扣商场，到处都是圣诞过后的减价活动，热闹非凡！整个广场笼罩在一片圣诞光晕下，很美很温馨！

星期五美式餐厅很大，有充足的座位。店内设计以黑色配搭鲜明红白条纹，很具现代感。明亮空间设计，天花板上夸张的吊灯与红色皮革椅，给人一种复古的感觉，气氛活跃欢乐！

酒吧区蛮酷的，调酒师也非常友善。他能在很短的时间内以娴熟的手法调制出各种令人兴奋的鸡尾酒！我最喜欢的是草莓鸡尾酒。它用新鲜的草莓与朗姆酒，配搭碎冰与雪糕制成的，好好喝！

菜单种类非常丰富，有美式布法罗辣鸡翼，各种碳烤肋排，汉堡等等，保证有你喜欢的，呵呵。

我们点的前菜是烤鸡翼配上特制甜辣酱。鸡翼做得很到位，酥脆的外皮里面是鲜嫩多汁的鸡肉，再搭配上独家的杰克丹尼尔甜酒酱，真是美味之极，超级好吃的前菜！

我的主菜是杰克丹尼尔碳烤猪肋排！大家可能会觉得，怎么又是这个酱呢？其实，这独门酱汁还挺有来头的。它是星期五美式餐厅与美国最著名的威士忌品牌杰克丹尼尔(Jack Daniel)合作推出的独家餐点！这甜酒酱系列在1997年推出，大受欢迎并迅速成为了星期五美式餐厅最畅销的菜式之一。

这家餐馆的分量还是挺足的，端上来的碳烤猪肋排占满了整个碟子，加上薯条和萨拉，简直是两个人的份量，呵呵。猪肋排以独门威士忌酱汁为调料，慢火烤至八分熟再碳烧。外皮碳烤香味十足，肉汁相当入味，柔嫩化口，非常地道的美式口味，好吃得让我停不下口来！

我朋友的主菜是汉堡，也是杰克丹尼尔甜酒酱口味，呵呵。味道也相当不错。

餐厅侍应生服务态度很好，总是微笑着，并不厌其烦地为我们添加饮料。顺带说一下，这里的汽水像可乐，都是可以免费添加的。我还注意到了这里的一个传统，就是工作人员会聚集在餐桌前，为当天生日的客人祝贺！虽然只是短短的几分钟，但我觉得蛮温馨感人的。

这里餐点的份量都属重量级的，很适合食量大的人吃。对于我和朋友来说，有点儿超负荷了，呵呵。虽然很想吃甜点，但我们的确心有余而力不足，下次吧！
