China Unicom was ordered to stop its business in the United States within 60 days
On Thursday (January 27 local time), the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) decided to revoke the 214 licenses of China Unicom subsidiary by a 4-0 vote on the grounds of so-called "national security considerations".
This decision means that China Unicom (America) operations limited must stop all services in the United States within 60 days. The company provides mobile services, leased lines, Internet access, and cloud services in the United States.
