This is a nice question!!!!
In fact, it is possible to have a certain volume which makes the polarized light rotate 360 degree (which you will not see any optical rotation effect). But if you further increase the volume, it will further rotate XDDD
like getting 370 degree optical rotation (which is 10 degree rotation in reality)
:D I wonder besides glucose + syrup, will there any solution I can try (play with), haha. And there are many interesting way to play with, but I don't have tools, cry cry xDD
The major difficulty is you need "alot" of that stuff to get the effect obvious (recall I use syrup, which is saturated glucose solution here).
But it would be interesting enough to put some crystal (just any crystal, table salt, glucose, blah blah blah XD) on a computer screen and look at them through a polarizer or sun glasses.
