family reunion dinner means family members are coming back to home from work city and have a dinner together for our Chinese New Year.It is same as important as Christmas Eve to western family.

我们家的年夜饭是在中午吃的。跟一般家庭不太一样的主要原因是，父亲有三兄弟为了均衡我们家的年夜饭就办在中午，二叔家在除夕夜，大伯家在新年。而“年夜饭”在我家也被称为“团圆饭”。
