OmiseGo is an Ethereum- based technology for use in mainstream digital wallets that enables real-time, peer-to-peer value exchange and payment services agnostically across jurisdictions and organizational silos, and across both fiat money and decentralized currencies. The team behind OmiseGo has been fighting to seek cooperation from several large players in the market. In August, they secured a partnership with McDonald in Thai so that the latter will apply Omise as their exclusive payment gateway.
Later in September, Omise successfully landed an investment from the Thai bank Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya), one of the subsidiary of MUFG, the largest bank in Japan. 3. One of the First Platforms to Launch Plasma.io [率先啟用Plasma.io的平台]

Plasma.io was firstly introduced in August by Vitalik Buterin as a solution to the scalability problem of Ethereum. If Lightning Network targets for Bitcoin Blockchain scalability and Raiden Network targets for Ethereum Blockchain scalability, Plasma.io targets for Smart Contracts scalability. It proposes the idea of child chains, which reduce the data stored directly on the chain and eventually achieve higher efficiency on the chain, based on the proof-of-stake consensus.
OmiseGo will be one of the first platform to launch the protocol. Obviously it will enhance the attractiveness of OmiseGo once the Plasma.io is launched.

4. Clear Valuation [明確的估值方法]

In my opinion this is the most important argument of its unlimited potential. Whenever we do the valuation of stocks, we calculate the projected discounted net cash flow of the companies so that we can get a fair value for the stocks. Investment banks are doing that, investment experts are doing that and many others as well. However, it is difficult to do it for cryptocurrencies, given that the there is no cash flow for the cypto and people are trading without a clear valuation.
OmiseGo avoids this problem. OmiseGo adopts the POS (Proof of Stake) validation method instead of POW (Proof of Work) which is used by Bitcoin Blockchain. Everyone holding OMG tokens can be the validators of the transactions and reward will be given to such behavior. The returns will be coming from the transaction fees of the OmiseGo Network and the net cash flow can be estimated by discounting the expected future transaction fees minus the node operation cost. As a result, investors can calculate the fair value of OMG tokens and carry out corresponding investment decisions. This avoids the chance of underpricing or overpricing, which is beneficial to the health of the tokens.

Market Analysis

OMG has experienced a downtrend from its highest $13.68 in August to $6 in October. However, we see a breakout in November and an uptrend is forming. Price surges quickly in these few days, partly because of the Vitalik's 'best token model' statement. The short term price target will be $16, but that will be readjusted once OmiseGo launches its new product in January or early February.
In my point of view, OmiseGo has the potential to reach above $50 or even $100 in 2018 given its great potential yet comparatively low popularity. When price starts going up, it will be unstoppable.
