Your post should not be too long, because if it's too long then your readers will feel difficult to read it patiently, and easily get tired; if it's too short, people might think you are insincere. Generally speaking, I usually keep each post at about 1000 words. Of course, this is not a hard and fast rule.
If you can appropriately insert some relevant pictures, videos and so on in the article, let the article be illustrated, that effect will be even better, it will make you get double the result with half the effort.
