顺峰山公园和中华第一牌坊 Shunfengshan Park in South of China

Today I would like to introduce a small city to you. It's Shunde, located in Pearl River Delta, close to Guangzhou and Hongkong. It's the hometown of Bruce Lee who is a super star ! 40 years ago, its economy was once dominated by agriculture, fisheries and silk farming. Since the implementation of policies related to reform and openness began in 1978, it has been a modern & prosperous industrial city, especially the manufacturing of furniture and electric appliances. Tourist attractions include the Qinghui Garden, the Bruce Lee Memorial Museum, Shunfengshan Park and Baolin Temple.

it's 88 metres (289 ft) wide and 38 metres (125 ft) high.

顺峰山公园是集旅游、休闲、娱乐为一体的现代化旅游景区，包括太平山、神步山、桂畔湖、青云湖等区域。公园的建设突出以 “山色水韵”为主题，充分考虑了顺峰山真山真水的特点和深厚的人文历史底蕴，巧妙利用自然空间布局以及旧寨塔、青云塔等历史古迹，依据山势地貌形成了“青山、碧水、一寺、两湖、两塔”的自然与人文景观格局。以两湖（青云湖区、桂畔湖区）、两塔（青云塔、旧寨塔）为主要旅游轴线，巧设独特景点，构成“桂海芳丛”、“汀芷园”、“步云迳”、“雅正园”等景区共24 个。

顺德顺峰山公园入口牌坊，为三跨式巨型中式牌坊，整座牌坊宽88米，总高度38米，基座厚3米，主跨35米，整座楼牌重1.4万吨，牌坊正反两面拱门之间有16条用大理石雕琢而成的龙柱，单条重量就达25吨，全部在门楼顶上用螺丝栓紧倒挂，营造出凌空而下巧夺天工的气势。其规模之大，造型之雄伟，图案之华丽，石艺之精湛均为国内外所罕见，因此享有中华第一牌坊的美誉。
