Lens Flare, YES or NO!

Getting lens flare into your photographs can be an unhappy accident if it’s unplanned. But learning to manipulate light bursts is a great way to add an interesting bit of flair to your photographs. You can achieve this effect by shooting towards the sun, and using different angles to manipulate the light and create a burst of light around your subjects.

I for most part love using lens flare for certain creative shots. This can add a twist of interest if you think you have a dull subject to photographic, or making the photo with an artistic spin, fun and playful or even romantic depending on the setting the colours of flare- and how strong the rays are.

It's all experimental in most cases! Go out of your comfort zone and try something different if you feel you're having a lack of inspiration or need a challenge!!
