Friends today I was reading the article of Shehla Ijaz which was written in 2012 in Express News.i wants to share some points from that article. Pics of those persons who were remembered in this article , i shall share here.

Time is very cruel, it sweeps away everything in its rapid flow, great famous people, lots of talent, very fertile minds, everything. It is a natural process that one who has come to this world has to go, but time and circumstances take many talented and famous people from this world in such a way that no one knows about it and there are some who are saddened. People recording their own statements is a strange practice known only to those at the top.

When Pandit Ravi Shankar passed away, it became news all over the world. He was undoubtedly a great sitar player. After imparting music training in major European schools, Panditji's fame had already become international, but a large number of devotees still exist in India. However, in Pakistan, big artists had to suffer from poverty. Perhaps we are particularly unlucky in this matter, not taking into account our guest artists, in this age of materialism everything shiny sells except the true artist.
In Pakistan, people who loved art, were obsessed with film, we did not value them and today they are only a mark of our film industry, till yesterday, in the industry in which Khwaja Khursheed Anwar, MA English literate musicians. What was left there today? Where there were well-educated directors, producers and actors from great families, now the windows are deserted, the studios are deserted because we don't value our art and look into our neighbors' houses and try to copy them while copying them. It requires intellect, knowledge and true passion.
