May Atheists Come to Steemit
Hello everyone, I hope your day is going splendidly.
I want to briefly express my wish for atheists to make a name for ourselves here on Steemit.com. I have noticed that there are a lot of Christians and Muslims, and I hope we as secular people can make a niche and a place for ourselves here as well.
It is not that I want to argue with anyone, but I advocate for all to get along amicably and kindly. I am looking for understanding and compassion for all nonbelievers and believers, and for us to live harmoniously.
So, I hope that you will all join me in the desire for a graceful, kind Steemit— kind for secularists as well as everyone else.

hi @jeffbradt this community sounds great. let me know if you need help in creating it. we shall discuss things on this in good spirit and harmony and share our points of view. 🤗
There is a community on Steemit called Atheism. I am a member.
Also, there is Atheist Republic. That's another Steemit community, hosted by the international organization of the same name: Atheist Republic. I am a member of this as well.
Both of these communities are very inactive, in fact I am the only one who has posted in either in a while, but at least they are here. Maybe I can elicit more interest in them.
I don't feel the need to start another community, but maybe people will join the Atheism community or the Atheist Republic one.
Please lead us to some discussion 😊 and tag me so I can maybe be joining in if I have something to share too

I think there must be quite a few Atheists on here. I am one. I read somewhere that spirituality is the new religion.
I embrace Buddhism, for its philosophy. Buddhism is NOT a religion. It is a WAY of Life.
I agree that Buddhism is not necessarily a religion. Thanks for clearing this up for people.
