Oh boy, hahaha.
I was a YouTube Bitcoin prognosticator myself! Technically, I still am. It's just that nobody has heard of me. I started advocating Bitcoin in 2013, saying it was going to $50, then $1000, then $4000, possibly to $1M eventually. People said I was literally crazy, stupid, foolish, dangerous, and so on. But I was totally right, and I even made several flawless price predictions and created a lot of Bitcoin millionaires. To this day I haven't made a bad call, despite making about 150 videos and blog posts on the topic over the years.
So it's funny to see nobodies like this shmuck come along during the recent 2017 spike, set up channels talking BS, and getting a million subscribers. I'm still under 9000. My information may not be polished, but it's right. I do it for people who care about information being right, not just loud and flashy.
Steem may be doomed, but it's not totally dead yet, and there's hope. If it does, I don't think it's as simple as blaming "the bots".

I go by drutter over there, too. In Computer Science class back in 1990, they assigned me that name, saying "computers don't like spaces in usernames". So we all became our first initial and our last name. I remember the teacher saying "sorry to reduce you to such an impersonal nickname... maybe the computers of the future will fix this issue".
I don't have a single video that breaks down all my previous videos, yet. So I'll link you to the one I did last summer, talking about what's coming in the rest of 2018, and in 2019 and 2020.
From about 6:50, for a few minutes, is the part about Bitcoin. You can see by the comments and ratings that the prevailing belief was the opposite. Sometimes the prevailing 'wisdom' and I agree, and sometimes I'm completely contrarian - but I'm always right. :)
