Thanks for the update, things getting clearer now.
Here it says that Clean Tokens give additional voting power - which seems to be comparable to Steem Power.
In the Steem Engine FAQ I read that Tokens can be traded for Steem.
Well, I am looking forward to the 19th to fiddle around with the new Tokens :)
