Summer Evening in Cincinnati

Cincinnati is a nice city to spend a summer evening beside the Ohio river. It is an old town, with lots of heritage and Germanic architecture.
We drove via the Bridge to the Kentucky side. Ohio river forms the south border with Kentucky.
From there you get a stunning view of Cincy downtown with amazing John A Roebling Suspension Bridge over your head (below):

These views are from under the John A Roebling Suspension Bridge, a nice place to see the boats floating by.
This is a great place to catch the sunset behind Cincy downtown also. The other end of the bridge has 'Smale Park', beautiful family area with water fountains/features for Children to play. Smale park hosts various music festivals during the summer. Many great restaurants with open seating are also nearby. Great views with summer breeze from the Ohio river.

Lookout for game schedules and you will be treated with free firework show during the post games.

On the south-side of the river, 'Newport on the Levee', is a beautiful spot with AMC movie theater and many excellent restaurants! Below is the view from Barnes n Nobles/Starbucks' glass window. 'Brothers Bar n Grill' is a budget restaurant with Riverside seating.
Second floor's 'Bar Louie' is my personal favorite though. Great flatbreads!

Newport Aquarium is also in the same premise. It is nothing special, but a good place to spend few hours. Seeing the sharks from the glass tunnel was awesome. They have some educational activities going on for the little ones.
