Venetian gondolas and the city | Contest entry
Here is my entry for the weekly Cityscape photo contest organized by @juliank.
The image was shot while on a Gondola ride in Venice. The city eternally floating in the warm waters of the Adriatic sea; A paradise for lovers and a tale that is eternally romantic. The art and architecture unique to the region is marvellous and keeps the tourists enthralled. I hope you enjoy this image.
Technical details: Nikon D7000; Nikorr 18-108 VR. Enhanced the shadows in lightroom.

That is a beautiful shot... Fresh colours and I love how the enhanced shadows adds to it!
Thank you @ackhoo. You have a very interesting set of images also. I especially love this and this.
Hope to see more of your work. I have followed you back!
Great! Thanks... :D I got a little distracted and interrupted halfway through your profile, lol... I wish you could see my Nepal series - those were quite some time back, so quite buried by now - steemit should have a way we could check backwards easily instead of scrolling forever... :) Anyway, look forward to more of your work too!! :)

You should know you were lucky. It's the first Venice with sunshine and blue sky for me even though I stayed there for 5 days. Thanks for sharing a nice picture (:
It is always good to have great weather on your side. I am so pleased that it was the case. The trip was so memorable!
I hope you get a great weather next time around!!
