Cityscapephotography- Holiday Ramble in Singapore
Here is my entry for @juliank contest :Cityscape Photography. Taken on recent vacation in Singapore. One of the pleasures of travelling is to arrive at a strange exotic destination, jump into a cab and say 'I want you to take me to an area with restaurants which has all the flavour of the Far East.I don't want Hotels, just proper restaurants run by ordinary local people.''
Well this was where I got dropped off, an area called 'Little India'' What a delight it turned out to be....
and the streets certainly offered a wonderful choice of local food
The mosque at the end of the street certainly gave the area character.
Closer inspection of the Mosque revealed loveful Eastern Architecture

Looks like a very colourful area @godfatherofsalsa. The lighting within the Mosque towers looks like it changes colour ~ Like lamps I've seen. 🦋

Looks like you really had good time there. Photos are great, looks so alive and I'd defenitly go to Singapore one day. The Mosque looks magnificent, beautiful architecture!

Thoroughly recommend you go to the Victorian Singapore street food Market 'Lau Pa Sat'... my favourite is boatloads of satay sticks... and a beer
