VDNKh: fontain "Friendship of the People"
This fountain consists of 16 woman's figures. Each woman is the Soviet Republic. If you close to Soviet history you ask "Why is 16, USSR had only 15 republics"
Because in the 1954, when the fountain was built, USSR hab one more republic. It was Finno-Karelia.
Now fountain is under repair.
