The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge which connects San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The bridge has one mile wide (1,6 km).
The construction started in January, 1933 and finished in April, 1937. Engineering and design were made by Joseph Strauss and Charles Ellis.
