City Signs Laporte from Bilbao

Even after having a brilliant first half of the season City aren't holding back in the transfer market as they have signed Laporte from Athletic Club Bilbao for a club record £57.2 Million. Making him the second most expensive defender in history after Virgil Van Dijk who was also signed during this transfer window by Liverpool for a club record £75 Million.
Laporte gives the much needed depth to a defence which had been shattered by Liverpool at Anfield.
