I will use Steemit to post information related to Citizen Investment Program in St Lucia, Caribbean.
Information on CIP
A Citizen Investment Program is a means for a government to stimulate the local economy by granting Citizenship, and therefore granting a passport against a qualified investment. In this particular case it is related to real estate, when a particular real estate development program qualifies or is approved by the governement for CIP it results in issuance of passports for each individual that invests US$ 300.000 through the purchase of fractional ownership of the real estate project.
Below is a breakdown of the complete cost* for a family of four, however the key component is the US$ 300.000 investment.
The chronicle order is a follows:
- sign the application with qualified agent
- deposit full amount in escrow with attorney
- release dud diligence fees
- receive approval
- release of funds

Reasons to own a St Lucian Passport:
Once you are a St Lucian Citizen you can travel Visa free to more than 100 countries including UK EU Schengen HONG KONG etc
Depending on your original Citizenship and your residency status you would with the right tax planning not be taxed on your world wide income and inheritance tax etc.
You have the right to settle work freely within the CARICOM www.caricom.org
*approximatively $59.000 for main applicant and $ 35.000 for spouse and $ 25.000 for children

Good information but outside all that you stated as benefit, what is the nature of the country? What is the tourist attraction? What is the country known for that will motivate someone to start aspiring to be a citizen other than the few benefit you stated above?
