Scene Lighting Practice

The people I work with and myself try to practice a different scene of lighting setup every week. Each week, someone presents a bunch of screen grabs from different movies as a reference or means of inspiration.

This week we were able to create this:

This is ungraded, straight out of a Red Scarlet Dragon, footage.
We got a Arri L7 as red back light.
A Diva as key with a cyan filter on it.
2 Arri 150w in the background giving some wall texture and a slight cyan rim light.

The screen grab that inspired this setup:

I think having a hazer or smoke machine would have helped to get that red haze in the background and more practicals.
All in all, I'll keep practicing and become better and more efficient.
