RE: ADSactly Cinema: Cult Movies - A Clockwork Orange
Stanley Kubrick himself is a cult director. Mechanical orange is one of this director's most famous films and marked the film industry forever. With a striking visual and musical force, Mechanical Orange shows countless technical and narrative innovations, not to mention the plot, which you've already pointed out and which can be strong and aggressive for some. I personally remember how some young people, after watching this film, began to listen to Beethoven and his Fifth Symphony. They had never heard classical music before, but it was a way of showing Alex DeLarge's rebbeldía. Ah, this film has also been referred to in The Simpsons. Thank you for sharing, @ladyrebecca.
Having young people listen to Beethoven is one of the most beneficial side-effects of the movie!
